My speedometer in my Camaro works fine until I get up to 60 and then it just stays there, it wont go any higher. I got a ticket last weekend because of this. If anybody has any idea what's wrong with it please tell me. It's not the wire driven speedo, it's the electrical one. Please help!

Is it accurate up to that point? Take the cluster appart so you can get to the speedo. Make sure that you can move the needle with your finger past 60. If it binds it any manor, even slight resistance, that could be your problem. Other than that, it could be your VSS but i would think that it would fail completly, not just as a certain point.
