can i take this out of any 3rd gen and use it in my car or do i have to use one from certain years. i have an 87.

 

I believe if you can find one in a thirdgen that it will fit but I'm not positive. I haven't started my search for one yet but I hear they are hard to find.

I heard that the A/C delete S10's heater box would work also. I'm not 100% on that though. I need to find one myself, winter is creeping up and I need to put the heater core and all that other stuff back in.

 

i need pretty much the whole system. i may just order it if i have to. kus tis true winter is coming up and ill be damned if i freeze my *** off for the next 4-5 months

 

Ive heard lots of people say that the S10 heater box works, there was a pic of one in a post not that long ago too. And as far as finding a non A/C thirdgen good luck, there arent to many of them out there (I got one). To bad you guys didnt post this question about 2 months ago. I removed the heater from my car and sold the whole setup for about $20 on ebay.
