Headlight switch, blower switch

Hi all, I'm new to the board and would appreciate some help if you could. I have a 86 T/A that has all the smog stuf pulled out, A/C pulled out, and a 350 put in to take the place of my 305. My issue has been going on for quite some time... in order for me to raise my headlights, I have to hold the switch at halfway - they go up, then I flip it all the way. Also, anyone have a wiring diagram for the heater/A/C control? My blower won't work with the switch, but works hard-wired, and it's not getting any vaccuum either. I really need to go through all of my wiring and any pics of wiring would help greatly.
Thank you!

C'mon. Someone out there must have a wiring or vaccuum diagram. Please. And if anyone else has any questions, please feel free to ask.

The fan diagrams should be similar to the '85 Camaro diagrams at this site:

Also, here's a location with the T/A digital dash schematics:

I checked everything. It's all hooked up right. I tested the High Speed Relay, and it's working. The blower is getting 12 volts. The resistor coils are getting juice too, but the blower still doesn't work in any speed. The blower works fine when it is hard wired.

Sounds like your isolation relay for your headlights is bad. I have to do the same thing with mine. It's located in the front of the engine bay on the passenger side. I'll be replacing mine in a couple of days...

Isolation Relay? That's the reason why my headlights won't go up unless I hold the switch at half way? Where is it located on the passenger side of the engine compartment? Near the firewall or near the battery?
Thanks.

It's up front close to the battery. Looks like your headlight relays. When you hlaf way hold your switch in it keeps what would normally be a momentary contact portion of the switch closed, simulating the normal function of your isolation relay.

You wouldn't happen to have an extra lying around, would you? Where can I get one cheaply?

I think it's the same relay as the one for your headlight doors. I'll know for sure tomorrow. Auto Zone has them for about $14.00
