converted to serpentine, alternator is different
converted to serpentine, alternator is different
I have an 86 z28 I used to have v-belts and I just converted to serpentine.
My problem is the alternator is different.
my old one has a 2 prong plug in, and the new one has 4 prongs, and my old alternator is bigger.
My question is can I cut the clip off of the car I got the alternator from, and solder it to my wires and plug it in?
Will that work?
Will I blow fuses or fry any thing?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
