hey
i just bought an 83 Trans Am and it has little lights on the grille on the hood. they used to only blink when i turned on the blinkers (one on the left and one on the right) but now whenever i hit the break they both come on, and the blinkers on my dash both light up to.
is this just a short? has anyone had the same problem?

 

Dude, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. Do you have a picture of it?

I think what you are describing are the turn signals. If so, and they all light when you apply the brake, you have a wiring problem. That kind of symptom generally from a problem in the turn signal switch in the steering column or its harness.
