ses light and radio towers?
Every weekend i travel to and from college, 60 miles each direction. About 40 miles into the trip with the cruise set at 80, the ses light decides to come on for no reason. It turns on the ses also on the way back, which is about 20 miles into the trip. So i know that it has nothing to do with engine temp. cuz the engine is at operating temp when the ses light comes on. There are no problems with the car, except it registers a code 32 and 34 everytime i do the paperclip test. I have noticed that there are a lot of radio, cell phone, and/or microwave towers around the area that the ses light comes on; about 7 or 8 total. I was wondering if these towers had any effect on the ecm causing the ses light to come on. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be causing it to come on within a 5-mile length of the interstate????? Please help if you can.....

smae stretch of road every trip? thats wierd. What code(s) does it throw? Do you hear a bunch of noise or static in the stereo at that point?
Doing the same trip with the same conditions can often trigger the same problems at seemingly the same place every time.
Did you clear the codes the last time you pulled them?
The EGR code is one of those codes that just come and go. Try changing one of the variables and see what happens (ei where you drive, how fast you drive there).
I seriously doubt RFI.

Like I sais it throws out codes 32 and 34. It didnt start throwing out 34 until my K&N filter was put in. Sometimes I drive 75, 70, and sometimes a little over 80. And yes, it is the same stretch of road every time, between miles markers 100 and 105, every time. And nope, no static through the radio. I have cleared the codes 2 or 3 times before, and the same codes keep popping up. I don't have any idea what is causing it to come on at that point. It did it when it was rather warm in september, and it does it now in late october in the cold.
