Anyone have this done with it in a box, or just welded in brackets? I came up with some ideas in a search but i did not find any pictures or if there were boxes that fit in the spare tire compartment. I would also like it to be legal for the track too with a cut off switch on the outside. Any pictures of that installed or ideas? Well, thanks for your time-Bryan

 

i replied on the other board but i should ad that some tracks will test the switch , it should shut your car off while running. the moroso switch i installed has a good wiring diagrapm

 

So i should go with a Moroso switch and a Competition Engineering box? Right now i have a Die Hard Gold battery, will it fit? I'll try to find it on the web site or i'll look them up in Simmit or Jeggs. Thanks again-Bryan

 

i went with the moroso switch on recommendation of local speed shop.measure your battery and go to comps website or i can get you the dimensions of mine.you should check with your track also, a hatch cars like ours is supposed to have a sealed box with a vent tube to the outside. where i go they check the switch and just want the battery to be secure.

no pics but i think i'm going to have to get with the program and learn how to do that stuff. hang out at the track and be polite with guys and usually they are more than helpful if you want to look at their cars. people always have time to talk about their rides

 

Thanks. I know all about the attitude thing. If i had some jerkoff punk in my face about looking at my car i would probally just leave! At shows most people are more than happy to go over the car in detail, if they have not already 20 times that day. Thanks again-Bryan
