Rewiring my '86 Firebird
Rewiring my '86 Firebird
I have an '86 Firebird that I pulled the 305 out of and am dropping in an Olds. 455. Like an idiot I cut my computer wires instead of just disconnecting it at the box.
I also opened up half the dash (in an attempt to locate the computer) and have wires dangling from all directions under the passenger side dash! My predicament now is I have NO idea which wires were for my dash and which were for my now non-existant computer. What's my best bet of still retaining my stock dash? Should I just shell out the $300 dollars for a complete "Painless" rewiring kit from Summit or is there an easier/faster/cheaper way of tracking down which wires were for the dash?
Thanks for your time.
