Head light problem on 92 firebird. How do you...

One of my lights was up for a long time, and i thought the little motor had given up. Well, all of a sudden last week it went down! I can't figure that out? Well, now it stayed down and it doesn't wanta go up. Is there a way to pick it up manually for when i drive at night? By the way, its the passenger's side head light. Thanx for any info.

If you raise the hood, you should be able to see a knurled **** on top of each headlight motor. The **** has markings to indicate the direction to turn to manually raise or lower the headlight.

Yes. I manufacture two versions of the kit to repair your headlights. One includes the side cover and motor housing gaskets. Both are shown on my web site. Boith kits have 3 precision machined Delrin bushings that replace the OEM gel inserts that have gone bad on yours. The kit insludes detailed instructions and new zinc palted washer-head screws and nuts (the ones mounting the motor cover often snap the head on removal).

There is still a slight glitch on the site that prevents you from being able to register or purchase online. Until I've got it fixed, just e-mail me with your shopping list.

Thanks,
