Stupid Wipers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here's the deal I got an 82 z and the wipers were acting up working sometimes not others and such. SO since my dimmer switch was messed up I just changed the column as it was cheaper then the switch in the column seemed easier too. Bought a new wiper morot and pump assembly but of course they won't work. When I turn the switch on they I can hear a click same if I try and activate the pump. So here are my questions. What wires should have voltage going through them when the key is forward out of the ones going to the pump. How about when the wipers are on. Then is there anyway to test the wiper switch without taking it out? I am so tired of screwing with these wipers. Thanks for any help.

remember that not only do you need +12V going to the motor, you also need a good ground too.

Thanks man

Thanks 2v it ended up being the "remanufactured" motor from autozone. The green wire was loose on the circuit board. The dirty rats I probably bought a wiper switch for no reason. I won't forget to check the obvious and SIMPLE next time.
