someone has tapped into the white wire....with another white wire with the plug...

Axle/Gears: Dont know yet

On my friends 92 Camaro I think that wire controls the light that is in his hatch, it gives it a ground when the motor is in the fully up position. im pretty sure thats what its for. hope that helps.

I just looked at my friends car again and when you pull that wire, his light in the hatch goes out. I looked at mine and its not connected to anything, I guess cause in 86 they have a switch in there for the light.
