Interior Neons:
I just purchased a few neons to install in my interior to give it a nice touch but I need some help installing it. I can plug them into the lighter but that'll look crappy so I want to wire them into some sort of indash power. Can someone walk me through this? Thank you.

alright, first things first, find the positive wire, it should have a white stripe on it or something and the other one is a ground, if you want to run both of them off one switch, take the positive for the other neon and the ground from the first one and put them together. then take the ground from your second one and ground it make sure its a good ground, then take the positive and wire it a switch or you can wire so when your lights turn on then turn on, if you are running them from a switch make sure ya put an inline fuse with it about 18 inches away from the battery if your running it straight from the battery, hope this helped.

I installed some under the dash and under the seats. Then I just removed the factory courtesy lights and tapped into their wires. That way when the doors are opened or I turn on the interior lights they come on.
In terms of removing the cigarette adapter, there should be a screw holding it together. Then the end with the positive contact will also screw off. The negative wire will be connected to one of the clips that runs the length of the adapter. I prefer to do it this way simply because some manufacturer's use different wiring methods so you can't always go by wire color. Although as Merthman said, it's usually the one with the stripe is positive. Just remember that neon lights are polarity sensitive.
