nothing inside the car works but the windows
i have an 89 iroc all power. i blew a fuse about 3 days ago. it was the accs. fuse. so i went to replace it and as soon as i put the new one in i popped it. i tried it again an i saw the litle spark and it pooped. so i know theres a short some where but i don't know where. heres a run down that doesn't work- power locks, trunk release switch, ciggratte lighter, dome light, map lights, lights by your feet. the only thing that works is my electric windows, thank ***. i'm kinda curios to see which fuse the power windows are on. any advice would gretly thanked. and how do i go about finding this short

thats what i was kinda thinking, cause its allways been a little tricky to get to work, sometime works and sometimes doesn't wanna work at all. gotta play with it a lil bit. would a local part store a have a new one or would I need to go to the dealer for that one.

Re: nothing inside the car works but the windows
Sorry to bring back a zombie thread, but this is where I found the answer- apparently- to my problem.
I started blowing fuses for the door lock/mirror/interior light circuit. When I found this thread, I followed the suggestion and disconnected my cigarette lighter- it is a hanging offense in California anyway- and so far, problem solved!
