Fusebox

I put in a new fuse a few minutes ago because the tailight fuse was blown. After that, tailights and dashboard lights work now. So the tailight fuse also controls the dashboard lights too? I didnt know that. My major concern is that there are 2 empty slots where regular fuses can go into. One is called INJ 1 and the other says INJ 2. What are these fuses for?

Those are for the fuel injectors. And fuel pump too I think.

Should I put the fuses in those empty slots then? My car runs without them. Do I need them?

No, from your other post I see you your engine is carbed. The INJ1, INJ2 are for TPI engines. Your engine doesnt need them. Sounds like someone swapped in a carb engine into your car.
