Temp reading

I just put on a new clip for the cooling sensor becuase mine had a bent pin and was getting no reading...now the reading is all over the guage...any ideas?

I have the same problem, but I didn't put anything new on. My gauge just woobles, but never reads above 240 or 260.

duh

come to find out there was another sensor near the fan on the driver side that had a little green wire w/ a rather cheesy 2 cent spade connecter that was loose...it was grounding out on the frame causing the jumpy needle...connected it AFTER puttin a new fan switch and cooling temp sensor on

BLAH

now if i could just get my fuel reading to normal!!!
