Hi. Two questions about HEI internal coil distributers. Whats the difference between the red and black wire coils and the red and yellow wire ones? And what can coil saturation do?

 

coor of wires depends on how old the coil is and what brand too, delco or dana, standard, echlin, etc. most tend to be red and black but ive also seen some yellopw and black ones also

coil saturation can cause hot coil, and other things too

 

fast68!- you old buzzard. Where you been? I see lots of corn and bean fields between Champaign and Bloomington. By the way, someone said red and yellow were 8 cyl. and red and white were 6 cyl.
