Strange Thing Happening.
Okay, when I was driving home the other day my car would lose all power and die. The radio would cut out and the engine would bog down and lose power. Then within a second or so it would revive itself and everything is normal. The batt is fully charged and the gauge says it's at about 13.5 volts running. Last night I went to start it up and the dome light was real dim, and when I turned the key of course nothing happened. So I figured the batt was dead and I have a drain somewhere. Well about 10-15 minutes later I go to try it again, dome light still very dim, at first nothing then all of a sudden, vroom... starts right up. Tried it again this morning and it fired right up like a champ. Now I would like to just ignore those weird happenings, but I know it's just going to do it again when its not so convinient for me. I'm going to do some troubleshooting, but I would like to know if this has ever happened to anyone else before and what to maybe look at. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

Exact same thing happened to me about a week ago. Turned out my starter solinoid was loose. All power is routed through the soliniod so if its loose then the car will lose power. It acted wierd after hitting a bump or under acceleration.
Hope this helps,
Matt

It could be the starter wire or the pos batt terminal. If either one is loose that could very easily happen. It happened to me a number of times on different cars and it was always the batt cable being loose. Check both.
Good luck...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Sure enough, one of the solenoid nuts were loose. Tighted her down and hopefully that will work. Thanks again!
