Keeps Blowing Taillights Fuse. Please Help.

I am helping a friend with his 1992 camaro and everytime he turns on the taillights/parklights the fuse keeps blowing. When he turns them on you get a quick flash and the fuses blows. We have pulled the taillights out and looked at the wires and everything looks good. Could a blown bulb cause this. I don't think it could be but I know anything can happen. Also what about the switch could something be wrong with it. The headlights work just fine but the taillight/parklights won't work. We are going to check over all the wires again and check the wires that run throught the car. What else should we check? Thanks for the help.

check the front markers/turn signals. i had a ground wire come loose and it would cause all sorts of problems. id look at the tail light / marker light power wires. there is an obvious short somewhere.

its very unlikely ...but yes...when a bulb "burns out" the filement from the positive side can fuse itself to the inside of the base....hense....grounding it out
