fog lights haunted

Ok. Its raining so I go and check to see if my windows are up. I go out and my fog lights are on. No parking lights, just the fogs. I check the switch, the indicator light is on but the switch is off! I check the relay, its warm, I move it around and the lights go off. WTF? How'd this happen?

The lights are aftermarket but they are wired in like stock. The fusable link is missing so I ran a wire directly from battery to relay. The green wire is grounded so fogs will run with brights.

Did the rain cause a short somewhere? I dont have any explanation for this.

Sounds like the light module under the hood became wet and the was a momentary shortage. I had a problem like this once when I cleaned my engine. Apparently some water got into that module and cause my lights to intermediately not pop up once I turned them on.
