What is the best electrical tester to buy?
I want to get an electrical tester that can do a lot of different things, like an all in one package.
Any good recommendations or places i could get something like this for a good deal?

By electrical tester I assume you want to read voltage, current etc? Best thing to get is a decent DVM or digital voltmeter. Best for overall durability is the Fluke series of handheld units. Unfortunately they are a little pricey. There are a lot of cheap knockoffs that you can buy at various places that will also work well. I use a Fluke 77 for the cars, it's been banged around, dropped and you name it and it's just like the Energizer bunny.

fluke meters are definitely the way to go. somebody ran over mine ,i shipped it back to them, they sent a brand new one back. total cost including shipping:28$.the flukes tend to be more accurate than most digital meters.
i belive you get what you pay for when you purchase electronics. only thing id say is that you make sure you always have a good battery in your meter or you'll get readings that are off. i was trying to diagnose an electrical problem a while back and couldnt figure out what the hell was wrong, volt readings were between 6 and 22 volts. put a fresh battery in the meter and there was nothing wrong with the electrical system
