My 86 T/A did not come with the feature of a hatch release switch. So I bought all the hardware I need and need help wiring it up. So what I need to know is that there are 4 wires which are BLACK WITH A GREY STRIPE, ORANGE, GREY, and a BLACK wire on the end of the connector that plugs into the hatch switch and which one of those wires do what? What wire do I splice the solenoid wire into? Thanks.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on wiring up this hatch release solenoid in any other different ways? Could I hook it up to the battery or something like that?
