Power supply questions.

I'm wiring up my TQ lock up to work off a manual switch, only thing holding me back right now is where to pull the power from.. I have it all wired to hold upto 10 amps, also have a fuse as the first thing inline, so no worries there. Only thing I don't really want to do is put another wire on the battery, so where can I pull it from?

Normally it's power is pulled from the 'gages' fuse (ignition switched source).

I don't know if this will help out any, but hopefully it will. When I ran a hot wire to my fan, I just pushed the connector into the slot in the fuse box labeled Battery. It's worked for about 2 weeks without a problem. Hopefully this will help.

there should be spare slots on your fuse panel that can power the line. look for an empty slot that says "IGN" or "ACC" and plug your line in to that, you shouldn't have a problem.

To answer your other question, about 350-500mA. If it blows a 10A fuse, you have a wiring or device problem.
