so i switch out my oil preuse snd unit
and now when i rev my engine my oil presure wont spike like it used to. it still shows presure but instead of shooting up when i mash the throttle it will just show steady presure. like when i start it up it will read 60 and it will slowly drop as it warms up until it gets around 20 or so. im guessing this is a different type of presure sending unit they gave me?

I am not sure if you can put the one that goes to the "check engine light" in place of the gauge one. I know they make two different kinds of sensors. Just a thought
