Switches, relays, sensors, testing?

1. I happen to be having a problem with my Neutral Start switch for my 700R4 shifter. I have the V6 and have tried numerous times to start up in Neutral unsuccessfully. Which switch is it on the shifter and how do I test it?
2. I have a really touchy reverse light switch. If I just put the tranny in gear without having the shifter back all the way, the lights don't come on, but if I hold the shifter al the way towards the back of the reverse gear notch, the lights come on. How do I fix this?
3. How do I test the engine relays, switches, sensors, etc. for putting in a new ECM? My current ECM is biting the dust and when I looked at it to find the GM P/N, I noticed that it has a nice "REMAN" stamp on it, so this obviously isn't the first computer the engine has eaten. I know that on the cover label on the ECM it says to test all relays, switches, and sensors before installation for the proper resistance values. How do I do this so I don't end up buying another ECM in six months or so?

You may be able to fix your first two problems by adjusting the neutral saftey switch and reverse lights switch. I'm pretty sure they're adjustable anyway.

I've never done it before but think it has something to do with the two little screws that are on passanger side of the shifter.
