Fan Switch Wire

My fan in my car died so I bought a fan switch to replace it. I have located where the part is but am unsure of how to disconnect the wire from the fan switch sending unit. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you are talking about the one on the driver's head, you slide it to the left or right, depending on which way the wire is facing. If you try to pull it straight out you will crack the plug. If you are talking about the water temp switch on the passenger side block, you just squeeze the plug and pull.

BTW, it's great to see a girl working on her own car. We don't see that to much around here

fan switch wire

Thanks. I found the wire. It was the one on the head. It came right out when I tried it.
