? about door locks

Who has door locks that automaticly lock when you start the car? An why is this?

3rdgens dont do that stock...

and latermodel cars "do for your saftey...."

i personally hate it when they do that... esp if you have your arm on the door lock and it pinches you when it pops in...

Mine do, but this is not stock. My alarm system controls the door locks once the ignition is turned on.

Mine lock too, but its because of the alarm system.

Alot stock cars came with that option especially if the seat belt was or is mounted in the door. An extra precation in case the car wrecks cause the door could possibly open making the seat belt useless. Was like that on my 94 lumina that I had a while back.
