getting rid of unneeded wiring in the primary wiring harness?
With our 82to 92 camaro's/firebird's theres the mass of emmissions wires and whatnots coming from out of the primary harness. My 84 Z is not emmission controlled or computer controled , although the car retains its air/heat interior lights gages and all exterior lighting has anyone attempted to get into the harness and get rid of all the unneeded stuff and if so how much hassle was it, what was involved? I've a really nicely detailed engine compartment and engine but that harness just takes away from it really bad.

Eveything on the bulkhead (next to the brake booster) is essentially needed (lights, gauges , dist. power.. unless you had cruise and removed it)
Anything that came from the pass side area... ditch it if the ECM is gone.
