Car: 87 Firebird (Hasselhoff special)

Engine: 2.8L of PURE STOCK POWER

Tach question

My 87 firebird has just the basic dash gauges. I found a tach one for V6 from an 86. Will I run into problems using an 86 one or should I wait till I find and 87 and up one?

tach wiring is pretty basic I wouldn't think there would be a problem.
