TBI to TPI swap, speedometer not working...
Well, all my other gauges work, except the speedometer. I removed the buffer box that the TBI ECM needed, but now I need to know which wire(s) I need to hook up on the gauge harness from the wires that were going to my buffer box. Thanks!

You need to connect pin B11 of the ECM to the cluster VSS input & pin C1 of the ECM to the cruise control VSS input. The schematic is attached.

Re: TBI to TPI swap, speedometer not working...
Question, my car was also converted from TBI to TPI. Originally a 91 TBI 5.0 and now it has a 90 TPI SD. My speedometer doesnt work either. Never did.LOL Where should i start looking? Should i connect a wire from a certain vss pin on my ecm directly to the vss itself? Is that what you are saying? Explain. I really want to get this thing working! thanks.
