Taillights keep burning out
Does anyone have any ideas on why my taillights keep burning out on my 92 GTA?
It's always the pass side. Between the two bulbs on that side they alternate. Also within the bulb itself sometimes the brake portion burns out and other times it's the parking light filament that burns out.
I seem to only get a day or two worth of driving out of it before one or the other burns out.
Could this just be a pigtail replacement or should I be looking for something else?
I should buy stock in GE with all the bulbs I've been buying.

I replaced 3 bulbs in my drivers side tail light today. I'll give the car a good run tomorrow and see if they run out again. The mimbulbs on passenger side tail light are also burnt out... I'm not sure what their purpose is, but I'll try to figure some things out in the next few days... check some voltages and such. If I discover anything, I'll let you know.
p.s. what's the yellow grease **** thats packed in the bulb sockets? Is it electrical insulation, or a heat insulator? Or to displace water/prevent rust?
