there are people that run without there maf because they think it makes them faster but i think it leans out your fuel delivery im not exactly sure and because it is measuring how much air is coming in at a particular moment you probably wouldnt be able to permenantely bypass it. id say try to find one in a junk yard maybe youll luck out...otherwise there is a ton of threads on mafs if you want to learn more..goodluck
