Help please-Is there a fuse for rear hatchback release?

__
Hi, Yesterday, we wanted to see if our cig. lighter recepticle worked to use for a cd adapter, so I plugged a lighter from another car into the socket, since ours was missing. It stuck and I pulled it out after a while, and it was smoking. I quickly found out it snaped a fuse, so I replaced it, and disconnected the bad cig. socket, and now the fuse stays on. My car has a switch on the center console that releases the back hatchback glass, I believe using a solenoid. It does not work now, could this short on the cig. socket have anthing to do with it, and if so, does it have a fuse?, or fuseable link, or circuit braker? I checked them all under the dash and replaced the only 20amp one that I could find that was out, and put one new 30amp circuit braker in also, just in case it was that(you cannot see in it because it is enclosed in metal. Anyway, it still is out, appreciate any thoughts, thanks, Dennis
