are our brakelights...

....series or paralell(sp?)

My center brakelight didnt work so I replaced the bulbs. All 5 where burnt out.The store only had 4 so I replaced them all except the center one.The light still doesnt work.I was wondering if that one old bulb is the culprit.

Center brake light halogens are in parallel. Those are the 10 Watt bulbs. If you use 20 Watt blubs, you may melt the housing. Those 10 Watt blubs can be had at hardware stores, they're the same as used in some outdoor lighting.

Mind you those 5 bulbs are HALOGENS, so don't touch the glass bulbs with your fingers or they will burn out right away from your finger oils. If you touch them, clean them off with alcohol or acetone.

Those sockets they plug into are kinda cheezy, I have trouble with one of mine.
