I'm really scratching my head on this one... I need a wiring schematic for a 91 firebird, and possibly a 95 camaro. My chilton doesn't show the wiring for the dimmer switch, just the headlights which were simple since the wires were the same color. mostly I want to know what the black wire with the red stripe does.

I've got my dimmer somewhat wired up into my 91 firebird from a 95 camaro. The gauge lights turn on with the marker lights, but then when I turn on the dome light they turn off. The dimmer switch itself isn't working like it should either... it barely gets dimmer when I turn it down.

has anyone done a 4th gen camaro dash in a firebird?
