Need some help troubleshooting. I have a 91 RS with 305 TBI. I put a rebuilt motor and tranny in a month ago and everything seemed fine. After about 500 miles the engine started cutting out. This happened at idle and at speed. Started doing it for just a second at a time and finally just died. Tested the ignition module (new distributor) and it was completely dead. Replaced the module and the car ran fine for about an hour and then started cutting out again. Replaced entire distributor with the same results. Not setting any codes and I am not noticing any other symptoms other than the a high idle and a little loping at idle, which I don't think are related. Any ideas? Could it be something as simple as a loose ground?
