Ignition Box Question

Distributor and Coil Questions
I just got my 84 camaro, and it has an ACCEL Super Coil on it. I believe that the distributor is a new HEI also. My question is, would it be good for me to get an ignition box for this setup? If so, Mallory Hyfire, or a 6a MSD box?
Also, if the ACCEL super coil is junk, i have a Mallory Pro-Master coil that i have never used. Can i hook this up to my distributor with on of those boxes, and would that give me better performance than the Accel Coil?
Or, would a Mallory Unalite distribetor, and my promaster coil, with on of those boxes work better than the HEI dist?
