ware do these wire hook up??
hey guys im wondering ware these wire hook up the ac pump is hooked up but there is this other set of wires that is just un pluged ware does it go? the check engine light doesnt coem on and it does work... its an 86 305 tpi engine

That's your A/C clutch coil connector. There is a 2-pin connector between the compressos pulley and the compressor housing that it connects to. Be careful if you hook it up.....it may be unhooked because the compressor is seized, and when the clutch engages it may try to throw the belt off. Hook it up and turn the air on and check to make sure the compressor isn't locked up before you shut the hood on it.

but the ac pump already has a wire clip hooked up to it... or is there a second wire harness that hooks up to it?

never mind lol i found what u are talkign about lol the only crappy thing is my batterie is dead at teh moment so i cant start the car to see if it works or not...
:lala: maybe this is why my AC doesnt work right now... im crossing my fingers it doesnt need a recharge.. i may be lucky the car only has 61000 miles on it so it might still work..... ill let u know what happens tomorow when i jump start the car and ill do what you said about testing it first to see if it is seized up or not.
