what can i wire my fan too?

what can i wire my fan too?
as of right now i have my fan on my 86 iroc wire to my fog light switch... that is fine and all but i am getting sick and tired of having to switch it on and off... so i want to hard wire it to something in the engine compartment that will make it coem on when i turn the key on to make it run all the time.... ive herd of people wireing it into the AC? but i realy dont know lol what can i wire it to so it will coem on when i start the car? i want it to do it all by its self with out me having to turn a switch on... if soem one can show me a pic of a positive wire i can tie into under the hood to do this it would be a great help to me.
also i know i should just fix it the rigth way but for now i want to do it this way to get buy and fix it this winter when i tske the car off of the road for the winter so please help me solve this problem guys.

The right way is also the easy way.
Apparently the fan switch for a Buick GN is common and cheap, and turns on at a fairly low temperature.
Get a relay and the relay connector off of another thirdgen. (just cut the connector off with enough wiring to solder to) That will also make it easy, because the 4 wires already there will guide you in which wires need to go to which wire on the connector.
You need four wires to the relay:
One small wire feeds the Relay with ignition 12V. You can likely get this from an empty single terminal on the fuse panel. Need a 20A fuse in the wire from the fuse panel to the relay IIRC.
Other small wire goes to the fan switch, which should have one terminal on it.
One large wire comes straight from the battery to the relay.
Other large wire goes from the relay to the 12V on the fan.
Other wire on the fan itself goes to ground.
That is a very simple setup, and will work perfectly. Running the fan constantly, from others experience, apparently leads to fried fan motors.
You can wire that up in 30 minutes if you have the right tools, and don't feel like routing it through loom.
