Cooling Fan ON Right Away

Engine: LB9
Transmission: 700R4
Cooling Fan ON Right Away
My driver's side cooling fan switches on as soon as my ignition is on during start-up on a cold engine.
Also the engine starts and idles very slow when I start it up.
These symptoms only happen If the weather is warm (75-90degrees). When it is cool it does not happen.

sounds like the relay is being grounded. check the coolant temp sensor in front of the engine. that tells the computer what the temp is and then the computer will ground out the relay at the correct temp.
also try to swap ur secondary fan relay with ur drivers side fan relay.

I had the same problem with my 88 GTA
I used a gm scan tool and found that the pcm was reading 241 deg coolant temp all the time. I checked the sender and wiring and found that when I hit the pcm it started reading the correct temp. I instaled a new pcm and the car runs awesome. If your pcm is reading high temp then it will change fuel and timing to compensate and could cause it to be hard starting and run slugish
just my 2 cents
