please help rear hatch opens when i go over a bump
on my 86 iroc the rear hatch pull down motor releases the rear hatch when i go over a bump in the road. does any one else have this problem or is it just me.

If it pops like it does when it normally opens you probably have a short somewhere near the switch. Otherwise i would suspect the latch itself is faulty.
