My door chime buzzer is going off after the car is started and it wont shut off AT ALL. what can cause this. I do have all auto meter gauges mounted in my stock cluster AND my SES light stays on ALL the time. are these two things related? Oh and the SES light WILL NOT blink a code 12. just thought I would throw that out there in case these 2 things are related.

 

Have you looked at the audible warning system in the convenience center and have you pulled the steering wheel off lately?

 

I ditched the air bag wheel for a nice grant wheel, I havent got the horn on it to work yet though thats a for a rainy day, I still have the finger.

oh and trickster, the problem I am having with my SESlight I think is boiling down to a faulty ECM. Idid al the checks and still cant get the lights to blink. It just stays on steady unless I unplug the yellow ECM plug. here is a list of ALL the things I did to the car this season

new gauge cluster with all Auto meter gauges.
deleted all warning lights except for the SES light
removed the air bag wheel and cut off the connector inside the wheel. install electric water pump along with a 140amp alt,(if it matters)

ALL my gauges work perfect, except for elect speedo(working on it) lihgts work in cluster and dim as well.

 

for the SES light I used a cluster bulb that is built into one of those sockets. I soldered one wire on one end and sent it to the brn/wht wire that goes to the ECM. the other wire goes to a 12V ing feed.
