C1/14 on guage cluster????

Anyone know the function of the Cluster plug, C1 Cavity 14, on an '87 Camaro with Guages?

My '87 Helms shop manual and the wiring Diagram book that came with it, both show this cavity as unused for a GUAGES CLUSTER, but I do have a wire and its brown. Anyone know what this wire could be for?

Yes, on the instrument panel with gages it is for the "HIDDEN GENERATOR LIGHT" and has a brown wire going to it from the alternator through pin "F8" of the firewall connector C100.

What happens If I leave it unhooked? I am installing a 4thgen cluster and I dont have a matching wire to the 4thgen cluster. The 4thgeb cluster works without it hooked up, but I haven't driven the car yet until I get my new Vss and buffer hooked up. I just want to make sure I wont have any problems down the road If I leave it unhooked.
