speedo swap

i have a 85 mph speedo in my firebird. i see gauges from other cars that go higher. if i want to switch to a higher speedo. do i have to do any calibrations, or would just plugging the speedo calibrate itself?

Just plug the new one in and go. If your's is the electric version, make sure you switch out the electronic board that is connected to it as well.
