Back glass heat not working

welp for the past month i have not had to use my rear-defogger, i tried to use it the other night at about 3.30 am (girlfriend needed milk) and they didn't work welp i was back their a couple days later putting something in the trunk (i had not followed up on my problem at all yet) and as i was shutting it i noticed that the passanger side wire clip had come off of the bar i also found it wierd that it was on the hydrolic lwindow lift one side was kinda bolted down but the top is soldered?? can i just use anytype of solder for this or what?

Axle/Gears: FACTORY
MY GUESS IS THE PREVIOUS OWNER OR SOMEONE SOLDERED IT, THEY SHOULD BE BOLTED ON EACH SIDE AND CONNECTED TO THE SUPPORT ROD.......

seemed a little odd to me because isn't the whole purpose to heat up and then solder when it heats up..................

ITS REAL EASY TO DO IF U HAVE A SOLDERING IRON......
