Need help with 1987 bird headlights
This has been an intermittent problem for a few years - and got bad tonight.
If I hit the headlight switch, the lights turn on and the doors do NOT open. However, if I manually crank them open and turn the lights on...then turn the switch to off, the lights go down.
After some searching I'm thinking it's either the headlight switch itself or a module of some kind. any help?
Thanks

The headlight door module is located on the firewall next to the wiper motor, Have you taken the motors apart and looked at them. Lon at Top Down Solutions (TDS) sells rebuild kits for them. I understand that the headlight door module is something like $175.00 + tax at the dealership.
