ok ive done a search and havent found much so here i go

i have an 89 iroc with a5.7 and 145 gauge but its cable driven..

how ever im half way though my t-56 swap... and i have a dakota digital unit and a 90 iroc 145 gauge the elec one its nice... yellow anyway that was simple enough 4 screws and it was out so i cut off the 2 harnesses and have those with me...am i going to have to rewire my system or what?? also how does the vss connect from my dakota digtal unit

and am i still gonna need a buffer box or anything like that??? i just have the pigtail on the tranny and my elec gauge..and dakota digital signal recalibration for the pulses

and does this mount up easy?? or do i have to pull the whole dash

 

The buffer box was only used with the TBI engines so you will not need it. I will e-mail you a schematic for that later tomorrow.
