under the hood!!!
I have a 1987 TA 305 carbed, with AC and what not. The previous owner was driving the TA in the snow and got stuck. He pushed enough snow under the car to bury the wires against the motor and started a fire up the main harness toward the brake master cylinder. Then the brake master cylinder caught on fire and he finally seen flames shooting up toward the windshield. He got out of the car and called the fire dept. Now i am left with a wiring job and have never done one. I have the both sides of the firewall harness , its complete but i have never done this before and need some help. Also because of the fire i need a hood too...Good thing is i only paid 500 bucks for it, and the harness came with it. anyone who can help me out , i would appreciate it. I guess i need under the hood diagrams and some trouble shooting tips. Ill get some pics up soon until then i'll just have to explain everything. Also anyone know how long this job should take. I was hoping to get the car running before it snows?

the easiest way to do something like that would be to have a car pretty much like yours to refer to. if thats not an option maybe some of the guys/gals here could send you some detailed pics of under there hoods to help. and a Chilton's manual would help some as well.
