Accidentally cut off the wires for the reverse lights, can another one be made??!!

When I was trimming the wiring harness the other day, I never thought about it at all. As I was hooking up all the stuff to the T5 I realized that I cut the damn connector off for the reverse lights, and the wiring is cut allthe way up to the brake booster. Anyway, is it possible to make a homemade fix? Or should I just go to the junkyard and find a 5 speed car and take the connector and cut the wiring out and try to resplice it back onto the harness? Thanks for any replies to this thread, Paul Moore

If you still have the connector you can remove the pins from it and solder them to the existing wire. After that, push the pins back in the connector and plug it in.

PepBoys also carries a pretty large variety of OEM style connectors as well.
