Shorting in reverse?

87 GTA

This problem started about 2 weeks ago..

When the car is shifted into reverse (auto) it blows the fuse on my turn signals. It also usually turns off/on my radio, gauges. And once or twice the car has stalled because of it. I'm thinking there must be a short somewhere.

I had the drivers side dash area ripped apart and also took apart my console (good time to glue the peeling sides) and poked around . I found a loose connecter by the steering column which I promptly fastened down, which had seemed to fix the problem, atleast until yesterday. I checked that same connector and it is on securely.

Can somebody help me with some suggestions on where to look?

Thanks in advance,
Terry
