Defroster/Third-brake light connection

I found the problem with my third brake light. The last "solder" point of the defrost wire pulled off the glass and prevented the third brake light from lighting. I have it attached with electric take, but want to re-connect it. I tried to solder it, but it wouldn't stay. Is there a specific solder to use, or some sort of "metal-glue" that will conduct the current and not melt when the wire heats up? This is literally the LAST issue with my restoration project. Probably not since this car rolled off the lot, has everything worked at the same time (hatch motor, headlight motors, digital dash, hatch struts, etc). I'm this close. Thanks for the help

Kevin
